Frances Jeneva Lee

Frances Jeneva Lee, a cherished member of the community, passed away peacefully on March 19, 2025, at the age of 91. Born on November 18, 1933, Frances was a beacon of light in the lives of many, renowned for her warmth, kindness, and unwavering spirit. Services to honor Frances will be held on March 26, 2025. A funeral service will take place at 11:00 AM at Marshall & Marshall Funeral Directors, located at 201 N Bosque St, Whitney, TX 76692. Following the service, she will be laid to rest at Hillcrest Garden of Memory, 3838 Texas 22, Hillsboro, TX 76645, where the burial is scheduled for 12:00 PM.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Lee; her daughter, Angela Doreen; her son, Alvin James; her parents, Lee and Nina Vick; her brothers, Calvin, Hinton Lawrence, Marvin Dale, Donnie, and Doyle; and her sisters, Sue Henson, Darlene Carey, Rodessa Shelton, and Faye Harlan.

Jeneva is survived by her brother, Billy Vick; her sisters, Alma Strothers, Carolyn Tackett, and Dell Kendrix. 

She is also survived by Mrs. Lee's beloved adopted daughters, Billie Roderick, Brenda Matthews, and Marsha Cornelison.
