Frances Mae Adams

Frances Mae Adams, 77, of Whitney passed away peacefully on December 13, 2020 in Waco. A Graveside service will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, December 17, 2020 at Prairie Grove Cemetery in Aquilla. Frances will lie in state from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors Chapel in Whitney.

Frances was born on February 24, 1943 in Riesel to Joseph and Claracey Plunkett.

Frances was known as Mae around here and was a very giving person, always helping someone she never met a stranger. She loved the country life, loved to fish, go camping and travel. She raised animals of all kinds from rabbits to pigs. Mae was never still always on the move. She owned a lawn care service in the 90’s. She was very much loved and the heart of our family. Mae was most comfortable in her blue jeans, button up shirts and baseball cap. Please honor her by wearing yours if you choose to on this day.

Preceding her in death were her parents, sisters, Mary Worley, Nell Brown; brothers, Lee Plunkett and Billy Calvin Plunkett.

Frances is survived by her children, Betty Joe Hurt, Billy Joseph Plunkett, Susan Ann Ervin, Joe Lee Adams and Patricia Adams; sister, Linda and Bill Chambers; grandchildren, Jason, Christopher, Billy Eugene, Stevie, Jessie,  Casey, Samantha, Derrian, Cheyenne, Amber, Dawson, Anjelika and Bobby; great-grandchildren, Dewayne, Grace, Jealah, Sophie, Zane, Calvin, Megan, Brandon, James, Xander, Skylar, Jaylin, Elizabeth and William; nephews, Robbie, John, Charlie, Richard, Chris, Joseph and Jimmy. With great love she leaves behind numerous family members, Frances will truly be missed and never forgotten.
