Francis Herbert Arnold

Francis Herbert Arnold age 90, of Whitney passed away Friday, May 26, 2023, at Towne Hall in Whitney. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Friday, June 2, 2023, at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors Chapel in Whitney with Darrel Phillips officiating.

Francis was born October 26, 1932, in Boston, Massachusetts to Henry F. and Evelyn (Pratt) Arnold. He was in the military for 23 years and served in the Vietnam War in the Airforce as a Tech SGT and he passed away on Memorial Day Weekend. Francis moved to Fort Worth and for 8 years worked for Wal-Mart in the Automotive Department and as a stocker. For 20 years he worked for the company Hobart Equipment for Industrial Kitchen, in the parts department. Francis loved woodworking, like crafts and he also loved putting together puzzles and reading the reader’s digest.

He is preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Helen Tabbi, Elizabeth Reed, and Richard Arnold; and his sons, Jon Arnold and Denny Fowler.

Francis is survived by his wife, June Arnold; children, Jody Lynn Bell, Elton Fowler, and Cynthia Gant; 17 grandchildren; a plethora of great grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild.
