Frank Russell

Frank "Buddy" Russell, 59, of Whitney passed away on September 8, 2005 at his residence. He was the son of Bud and Helen Jewell Harper Russell. He lived in Whitney most of his life and graduated from Whitney High School in 1963. Buddy graduated from Baylor University in 1968 with a degree in BBA. On October 1, 1983, Buddy married Hazel Lee DuVall in Whitney. He was owner and operator of F. E. Russell Furniture Company; a member of King Memorial United Methodist Church in Whitney, life member of NRA, and a member of Hill County Chapter of Duck?s Unlimited, Whitney Masonic Lodge #355 AF&AM, Amadaco Masonic Lodge #176 and currently serving as Junior Deacon. Preceding him in death were his parents. Survivors include his wife, Lee Russell of Whitney; aunts, Fran Smith of Hillsboro, Joyce Isbell of Robstown, Bernice Reavis of Thorndale and several cousins.
