Fred Allen Sanders. 69, of Whitney, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on April 10, 2014. Graveside services will be held at 11:15 AM, Tuesday, April 15, 2014, at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2191 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas. Visitation will be held on Monday, April 14, 2014, from 6-8 PM at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors in Hillsboro.
Fred was born on April 11, 1944, in Hill County, to the late Fred R.and Bernice Sanders. The youngest son of 11 siblings, he attended school at Peabody in Hillsboro, 3 years of high school in Pelham, Texas, and was a proud graduate of Dawson High School in 1962. He retired after 34 years of employment at Vought Aircraft. From his passion to do God’s work, he founded Heaven or Hell Outreach Ministry in 2006.
He is also preceded in death by his siblings, David E. Sanders, Roosevelt Sanders, Inez Sanders and Oscar Zelton (OZ) Sanders.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his devoted wife, Callie Sanders; three daughters, La Vonda Sanders, Letitia Gipson, and Dana Comradd and husband, Robert; son, Freddrick Sanders; siblings, Alvin L. Sanders, Doyle C. Sanders and Barbara (Bobbi) Flowers; his loving grandchildren, Keevon, Karrey, Emani, Evon, Freddrick. Akeila, Armani, Akira, Micah and London; he also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that will also cherish his memory.
Memorials may be made in Fred’s name to the Our Daily Bread Food Bank, P.O. Box 1502, Whitney, TX 76692.
Fred loved to bask in the sunlight of God’s glory every morning on his porch; his light will now shine with his father’s.
