Freddie Eubank, 74 of Whitney passed away at his daughters residence on June 22, 2007. He was the son of Alvin and Oudia Callaway Eubank. He married Patsy McCreight on January 26, 1955. He retired from Texas National Guard after 21 years. He helped in the building of the Lake Whitney Dam and worked for Texas Highway Department for 19 years. He also served as Hill County Commissioner for two terms, served 2 terms as the President of Texas Short Horn Association and served many years on the Board of Directors of the Texas Short Horn Association. Freddie was reconized by American Short Horn Association as honorary Breeder of the Year in 1991. He also raised commercial and registered Short Horn Cattle. He loved Kids and livestock shows. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Patsy on October 21, 1997, two sisters, Ardella Terry and Maxine Limmer. Survivors include his children, Don Eubank of San Francisco, Ca., Larry Eubank and wife Sandy of Italy, Janet Wallace and husband Rick of Whitney; grandchildren, Karli Fowler and husband John of Honey Grove, TX., Brock Wallace of Whitney, Bailey Eubank of Italy, Megan Whitney of Italy, Ricky Whitney of Italy, Amber Hudson of Italy; great-grandchildren, Audrey Fowler of Honey Grove, TX., Ella Hudson of Italy, TX.; several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
