Fredrick Johnson Jr

Curry Johnson, 62, of Whitney passed away on January 14, 2005 in Whitney. He was the son Fredrick Curry and Henrietta Brumme Johnson, Sr. He married Linda Stansberry in Meridian on October 17, 1979. He was a retired Department of Public Safety Trooper. He started his career in Taylor, Texas in 1970 and later worked in Bosque and Hill County until his retirement in 2001. He was of the methodist faith. He was preceded in death by his father. Survivors include his wife, Linda of Whitney; mother and stepfather, Henrietta and Vaden Coventry of Clifton; children, Dee Dee Baker and husband, Sam of Fort Worth, Shawn Turner of Whitney; brother, Blake Johnson of Sanford, stepbrother, Paul Coventry of Grapvine; stepsister, Joni Brown; grandsons, Curry Taylor Williams and Trey Turner.
