Gary Howard

Gary Norman Howard passed away at his home on June 17, 2006. He was the son of Carson Guthrie and Estelle Bailey Howard. Gary grew up in eastern New Mexico. He served in the United States Navy from 1955- 1959. On April 6, 1961, he married Mary Morgan in Carlsbad, New Mexico and she preceded him in death on Oct. 27, 2004. He retired from Amerada Hess and moved to Whitney. Gary was active with the McCown Valley Association. Survivors include his sons, James A. Howard and wife, Sherry of Wylie, Terry Lynn Howard of Denver City; grandchildren, Lisa Ann, Melissa Kathleen, Justin Rankin, Rebekah Leigh and Halee Jo.
