Gary Loewe

Gary was born September 18, 1951 in Hillsboro to Henry Gus and Jimmie Ruth Morris Loewe. A graduate of Hillsboro High School, he also attended Hill College. After serving in the Air Force, he later lived in Austin and Colorado. For many years he lived in Durango and southern Colorado where the mountains were his great joy. He enjoyed playing pool, hunting and also worked as a hunting guide in Colorado. Preceding him in death was his father, Henry Loewe. He was a Baptist. Survivors include his mother, Jimmie Ruth Loewe of Hillsboro; son, Patrick Loewe of Austin; grandmother, Wanda Loewe Hamilton; sister, Sharon Garner and husband, Neill, of Austin; niece, Hana Garner of Austin; and nephew, Joel Garner of Austin.
