Gary Moses

Gary Lynn “Mighty Mo” Moses, 65, of Bynum passed away Thursday, December 4, 2014, at his residence surrounded by his family and friends. Memorial services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Monday, December 15, 2014, at Marshall & Marshall Funeral Directors Chapel in Hillsboro.

Born September 15, 1949 in Hillsboro, Gary was the son of Donald and Katherine (Jordan) Moses. In 1967, he graduated from Hillsboro High School and went on to attend Hill College where he studied business and law enforcement. He married Pam Glenn Miller in April 1970 and later married Donna Johnson in January 1977. Gary served as a police officer in several Texas cities including Hillsboro and Clifton and also served as a deputy with the Hill County Sheriff’s Office. He was of the Methodist faith. Preceding him in death were his parents and brother, Dale Moses.

Survivors include his children, Stephanie Moses Luedke and husband, Jesse, of Penelope, Susan Moses of Brownwood, Jon Moses and wife, Christi, of Whitney, and Sunny Herring of Gatesville; 16 grandchildren, Kati, Greg, Blake, Don and wife, Meagan, Carlye, Joseph, DeeJay, Allyson, Nathan, Jaycee, Jon Jr., Kolbie, Sara, Riley, Cameron, and Brandon; great-grandson, Ryhder; and special friend, Charlotte Broze.
