Gene Davis

Gene Davis passed away on November 21, 2006 in Whitney. He was the son of Eugene Thomas and Eva Warren Davis. Gene married Patti Schlaepfer on June 3, 1983 in Fort Bend County, Texas. He served his country in the United States Army and was an avid fisherman, hunter and loved trucks and motorcycles. He was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife, Patti Davis of Morgan; mother-in-law, Alta Schlaepfer of Morgan; children, Phyllis Dowlin and husband, Michael of Needville, Alta Goodrich of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Hilery Gene Davis, II of Needville, Louis James Davis of Needville; sisters, Linda Malone of Cleburne, Melissa Boettcher of Kendelton, Veda Davis of Needville, Doris McFarland of Cleburne; 1 granddaughter, Hannah Dowlin of Needville
