George Bell

George "Stan" Bell, 69, of Whitney and formerly of Blum passed away on April 4, 2007 in Whitney. He was the son of George F. and Zorah Lea Hirst Bell. On June 1, 1957 he married Marie Birdwell in Odessa. Stan worked for Bennett Printing since 1965, retiring in April 2004. Prior to working full time for Bennett?s he worked for 17 years at General Dynamics. He was a member of St. Mark United Methodist Church in Cleburne. Preceding him in death were his parents and sister, Jolene Bell. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who will be missed greatly. Survivors include his wife, Marie of Whitney; children, Randy Bell and wife, Laurie of Bruceville, Rick Bell of Cleburne, Rhonda Hughes and husband, Russell of Blum; sister, Peggy Bennett and husband, Fred of Cleburne; 5 grandchildren, Amber Herbelin and husband, Brent, Kelli Bell, Dustin Hughes, Jason Hughes and Jessica Hughes Memorials: Happy Hill Farm, 3846 N.
