George "Fox" Henderson

George A. “Fox” Henderson, 73 of Whitney passed away on May 24, 2011 at his residence.

Graveside services will be held at Noon on Friday, May 27, 2011 at Whitney Memorial Park in Whitney. Visitation will be held on Friday from 9:00 - 11:00 AM. at the funeral home.

George was born on August 24, 1937 in Red River County, Texas. He was the son of Lee Albert and Sybil Lucille (Tucker) Henderson. He had worked as a professional carpenter. He was of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by his father, Lee Albert Henderson and sister, Barbara Sue Embry.

Survivors include his mother, Sybil Lucille Robinson of Laguna Park; children, Arthur Gregory Henderson, Kimberly June Henderson, Tina May Clevenger and Angela K. Henderson, all of Phoenix , Arizona; brother, Bobby Lee Henderson of Whitney; sister Audrey Gene Henderson of Louisiana; 3 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
