George Pylant Jr

Geroge Derrick Pylant, Jr. lost his battle with Alzheimer's Disease when the Lord mercifully called him home February 16, 2006. George was born in Hattiesburg, MS. He was a 1964 graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi with a double major in math and chemistry. He worked as a sales representative for Hoechst Celanese until his retirement. He was a resident of the Lake Whitney area for thirty years. He is survived by his wife of forty-six years, Peggy Cole Pylant; one son, Dr. George Derrick Pylant, III and his wife, Dr. Peggi Eason Pylant; one daughter, Ruthanne Pylant Walpole and husband, Daniel M. Walpole; one sister, Jane Pylant Roberts and husband, Jack of Purvis, MS; four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
