Georgia Adams

Georgia Adams, 77, of Whitney, formerly of Hillsboro, passed away Tuesday, October 25, 2005, at her residence. Georgia was born March 13, 1928 in Berryville, Arkansas the daughter of Mark L. and Donnie Bell Fultz Newton. She grew up in Arkansas. On September 3, 1948 she married Paul Adams in San Ando, CA and he preceded her in death on Feb. 28, 1990. In the fall of 1951 they moved to the Peoria area. She was a member of Peoria Baptist Church. Also preceding her in death were her parents; son, Mark Adams, on June 15, 2005; and infant daughter, Darlene Adams. Survivors include six children, Harold Adams and wife, Brenda, of Covington, Donna Rodgers of Whitney, James Adams of Blue Grove, Paula Hall and husband, Charlie, of Whitney, Martha Roades of Cameron, and Lori Fulton of Whitney; brother, Henry Clyde Newton of Sante Fe Springs, CA; 15 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
