Georgia Little

Georgia Ann Little, 81, of Malone passed away Monday, June 18, 2018, at Town Hall Estates Nursing Home in Hillsboro. Private family services will be held.

She was born May 5, 1937 in McLennan County to George and Annie (Hugo) Hoffman. She grew up in Malone and graduated from Hubbard High School. While working at J. M. Woods, Georgia met her future husband, Leon Little, and they were married on July 1, 1961. The couple first opened Leon’s Place in Malone and later owned and operated the Malone Seafood and Steakhouse for many years. She was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church in Malone.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband on June 18, 1996; sister, Linda Davis; and grandson, Kenneth George Anderson.

Survivors include her daughter, Leigh Ann Lyon and husband, Jeffrey, of Hillsboro; and two grandchildren, Sgt. Jaryd Taylor Lyon, active duty USMC, and Kendyl Lynne Lyon of Jacksonville, FL.
