Gertrude Huddleston

Trudy was the daughter of Marion Josh and Berdie Dawkins Walters. On December 4, 1948, she married John J. Huddleston and he preceded her in death on October 6, 2004. Four brothers also preceded her in death. She worked as a bookkeeper for over 45 years as she traveled with her husband in the military. She was a member of The First Presbyterian Church in Hillsboro, Senior Circle at Hill Regional Hospital, and also Crepe Myrtle Chapter # 163, O.E.S. in Fort Worth. Her survivors are adopted children, Tom and Loretta Burris of Whitney; sister, Mae Moses of Red Oak; sisters-in-law, Betty Arndt of Las Vegas, Nevada and Edna Walters of Corpus Christi along with a host of nieces and nephews.
