Ginger Ann Turner

Ginger Turner, 75, loving wife, mother, and granny, went to her heavenly home to have coffee with her husband, Jeffrey Turner, on September 18, 2024.

She was born on June 25, 1949 in San Antonio, TX to Fred Alexander Garner Jr. and Gladys Elizabeth Newcomer. On November 9, 1968, she married the love of her life. Ginger spent her life being a caregiver to the ones she loved. She was an amazing granny, who wouldn’t let you touch any of her things or eat hard candy, but loved her grandchildren whole-heartedly. She enjoyed spending her days at home with her dog Sophie and watching Court TV.

She is survived by daughter, Tracy Hamilton; son, Jason P. Turner; granddaughters, Julie Helms and husband, Curtis, Alexis Turner and fiancé, Joseph Cedillo, and grandson Jake Turner; great-grandchildren, Bailey Helms and fiancé, Cade Pickens, Blake Helms and fiancé, Lani Harlin, Abigayle Helms, David Helms, and McKynli Cedillo; great-great-granddaughter, Amelia Pickens; and sister-in-law Yael Garner.

Ginger was preceded in death by her husband, Jeffrey Turner; her parents; brother, Fred Alexander Garner III; and daughter-in-law, Tisha Turner.
