Gladys Johnson

Gladys Maggie Welch Johnson passed away on April 7, 2005 in Dallas. She was the daughter of William Edgar and Ada Belle Cook Welch. She married Homer Johnson on December 24, 1935 in Dallas and he preceded her in death on July 9, 1990. She had lived most of her life in the Dallas and Fort Worth area and in LaFeria for 8 years. She moved to Whitney in 1980. Gladys worked as a bookkeeper for the Red Cross for twenty - one years. Also preceding her in death were two brothers, William Hayes Welch in 1953 and Clyde Edgar Welch in 1973. She will be remembered and missed for her sense of humor. Survivors include several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
