Gladys B. Wilson, 85, of Round Rock, formerly of Hillsboro, died Wednesday, April 18, 2007, in Round Rock. Gladys was born August 24, 1921 in Wills Point, Texas the daughter of Gustavus Nathaniel and Nancy Lurinda Williamson Baillio. She grew up in Gladewater, TX and graduated high school there. She later moved to Dallas where she went to work for Western Union. She transferred to Hillsboro where she ran the Western Union office. After working at Western Union, she was active in the health care field, working in several medical offices and also serving as administrator of West Community Hospital. Her varied career included working as Coordinator of Continuing Ed at Hill College in Allied Health and also serving as the Selective Service administrator in Hillsboro. She later worked as a medical records consultant until her retirement. She was an active member of First Presbyterian Church in Hillsboro and was past president of Hillsboro AARP. In 2000 she moved to Georgetown to be closer to her family. On April 6, 1946 she married Jake Wilson and he preceded her in death on November 13, 1998. Also preceding her in death were her parents and eight brothers and sisters. Survivors include her son, Robert Wilson and wife, Karen, of Round Rock; brother, Dent Baillio and wife, Bonnie, of Atlanta, TX; sister-in-law, Pat Baillio of Anahuac; four grandchildren, Rachael Roshong and husband, Steve, of Katy, Brian Wilson of Georgetown, and Reagan Wilson and Regina Luepke and husband, Chris, all of Round Rock; three great-grandsons, Zachary, Alexander, Carson; and several nieces and nephews. Memorials maybe made to the Hillsboro Interfaith Ministries, P. O. Box 793, Hillsboro, TX 76645.
