Glenda Whitworth

Glenda Lee Whitworth, 70 of Whitney passed away on August 26, 2009. Glenda was born on July 27, 1939 in Wylie, Texas, the daughter of the late Harvey and Rosie Mormon Aydelott. She married Maxey Pete Whitworth on August 20, 1956 in Detroit, Michigan and he preceded her in death on January 18, 1999. She loved to watch tv, drink coffee and was an avid hummingbird collector. Glenda was of the Baptist faith. Also preceding her in death were her brother Jerry Smith and on Sept. 27, 2004 her great grandson, Hudson Grant Calvin. Survivors include her children, Rickey Whitworth and wife, Leah, Maxie Whitworth and wife, Valerie, Debbie Moore and husband, Jeff, Billy Don Whitworth, Sheila Braziel and husband, Larry, Jerry Whitworth and wife, Iva, Eric Whitworth and wife, Chalee, Amy Whitworth; sisters, Patsy Smith and husband, Jerry, Sherry Martin and husband, Jesse; 25 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
