Glenn Johnson

Glenn Edward Johnson, 58, of Whitney went to be with the Lord on September 11, 2021. He was born to Weldon Johnson and Dorothy Burns on January 27, 1963, in Fort Worth, Texas.

Glenn grew up in Burleson and graduated in the class of 1981.  He was a member of the Burleson Church of Christ.  With a strong work ethic, Glenn worked in the grocery business for over 40 years.

Glenn loved his family dearly.  His acts of kindness not only extended to his family but to neighbors and friends!  He was generous with a compassionate heart and always willing to help others.  He loved fishing with his daughter, grandsons, uncle, and nephews. Even though Glenn endured much physical pain with his back, he never complained and always had a smile on his face.  He had a sense of humor and a great laugh.  He loved his cats; they were his constant companions.  But most importantly, he loved the Lord with all his heart. God’s grace was one of his favorite topics to discuss. He will be missed by all.

Survived by his daughter, Molly Camarena and husband, Lorenzo; grandsons, Jesse, Ryan, Micheal, and Caden; sisters, Carolyn Jackson and husband, Don, and Elaine Lemmons and husband, Carlon; nephews, nieces, grand nephews, and grand nieces, and many beloved cousins, uncle, family members, and friends.

Preceded in death by his parents; brother, Keith; grandparents, Bud and Viola Johnson and Raymond (Grumpy) and Myrle Burns; Molly’s mother, Jennifer, aunts, and uncle.

A Celebration of Glenn’s life for family will be held September 25, 2021.
