Glo Watts, 82, of Whitney passed away on August 5, 2009 in Waco. Glo was born on September 25, 1926 in Bosque County, the daughter of the late Luther and Bessie Hulme Erwin. She had lived in Whitney and surrounding areas all of her life. On October 16, 1942, she married Clyde Watts and he preceded her in death on December 20, 1997. Glo was a member of the King Memorial United Methodist Church in Whitney and was active for many years in the Whitney VFW auxiliary. She was also preceded in death by her son, Michael Watts and 2 brothers, Norman and Dalton Erwin. Survivors include her daughters, Dana Perkins and husband Tommy of Alvarado, Becky Ward and husband, Johnny of Whitney; brother, Hayward Erwin; sister, Margurette Guthrie; grandchildren, Carrrie Perkins, Ginger Russell and husband, Brad, Toby Perkins and wife, Sabra, Shawn Ward and wife, Pam, Kimberly Montgomery and husband, Craig, Christy Bennett and husband Allen; great grandchildren, Chaneil Russell, Lindsey Russell, Jacob Deal, Micha Ward, Zane Perkins, Reagan Montgomery, Amos Perkins, Avril Ward, Jaxon Montgomery and Elijah Bennett.
