Biography

Goyie LeVan Gordon, 75, of Hillsboro passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 4, 2019, at Homestead Nursing & Rehab in Hillsboro. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, July 8, 2019, at Hillcrest Garden of Memory near Hillsboro with Rev. Danny Gilliam of First Baptist Church in Hillsboro officiating.

LeVan was born October 21, 1943 in Union Bluff Community, Hill County, Texas to Neta and Goyie Gordon. He was a 1961 graduate of Hillsboro High School. He enjoyed farming and working with horses and dogs.

Preceding him in death were his parents; brother, Jerry Gordon; and sister, June Blasor.

Survivors include six children, two brothers, and several grandchildren.
