Grady Swinscoe

Brother Grady Swinscoe, of Whitney, Texas, passed away Wednesday, October 6, 2021, at Navarro Regional Hospital due to Covid-19. Graveside services will be at 10:00 am, Tuesday, October 12, 2021, at Prairie Valley Cemetery in Whitney, Texas.  Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, Monday, October 11, 2021, at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors in Whitney, Texas.

Grady was born October 17, 1947, in Waco, Texas, to Elmer and Billie Swinscoe.  He was a pastor at Triangle Park Baptist Church and the owner and operator of Swinscoe’s Septic Service.  He also proudly served in the United States Navy.  Grady was blessed to have met so many wonderful people in his life and was married for fifty-four years to Marie Swinscoe.

Preceding Grady in death are his mother, Billie and Clarence Swinscoe; dad, Elmer Swinscoe; and son, Tracy Swinscoe.

Grady is survived by his wife, Marie; daughter, Stacie and husband Freddie Leal; brothers, Larry and Elmer (Buster); sisters, Kathy and husband Richard Venable, and Janita Johnson; grandchildren, Greg and wife Tara Swinscoe, Ashton and husband Chris Sanders, Wesley Ryan Swinscoe, Cody Leal, and Kristina and husband Steven Lafever; great-grandchildren, Timothy Swinscoe, Daniel Sanders, Hunner Swinscoe, Raygen Sanders, and Raythe Bubba Ray Swinscoe.

Serving as Honorary Pallbearers are; Gregory Swinscoe, Larry Swinscoe, James Youngblood, Fred Youngblood, Kent Harbison, Buster Swinscoe, Chris Sanders, Nathan Mayfield, and Keith Whitworth.
