H. D. Dozier

H. D. “Bud” Dozier, of Morgan, Texas, completed his earthly journey July 12, 2011, in Clifton, after a lengthy illness.

Memorial Services will be held Saturday, July 16, 2011 at 1:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church in Meridian with Rev. Cynthia Lee officiating.

Bud was born June 8, 1926; the son of Seaburn Stanley and Ruth (Hudspeth) Dozier in Haskell County, Texas. He was a rancher most of his life. Bud was a member of the Masonic Lodges in Marble Falls and Kopperl and received his 50 year pin several years ago.

He was preceded in death by his parents and older sister, Juanelle Meek.

Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Stanley (Hombre) and Linda Dozier of Glen Rose; daughters, Deborah Nichols of Marble Falls, Denise Dozier of Grandview and daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Todd Heller of Waco. He was the proud “Papaw” of 12 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
