Harold Morgan

Harold LeRoy Morgan, 76, of Whitney passed away Saturday, June 25, 2005 in Whitney. He was the son of Robert Filmore and Mary Anna Arrants Morgan. On November 8, 1949, Harold married Ruby Clay in Avenal, California. He worked with music and youth in several churches and was involved in the ministry for 52 years. He established Sun Country Chapel in 1993. He loved to sing and played bass in a back-up band for Bob Wills. Harold almost completed his Doctorate in Ministry and was a member of Sun Country Chapel in Whitney. Preceding him in death were his parents; son, Douglas Morgan; two brothers, Harry Morgan and Dale Morgan. Survivors include his wife, Ruby of Whitney; brother, Robert Morgan of Takoma, Washington; granddaughter, Valorie Siewert of Bellingham, Washington; several nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.
