Harold Counts Ridlehuber, Sr., 70, of Hillsboro died Sunday, April 22, 2007, at his residence. Harold was born August 25, 1936 in the Mayfield Community in Hill County, Texas the son of Henry Counts and Della Susan Harrison Ridlehuber. He grew up in Itasca and graduated from Itasca High School. He worked for General Dynamics, Bell Helicopter, and Snow Corporation. After 22 years, he retired from General Dynamics and became owner and operator of J. R. Coatings. He also farmed and ranched. On April 14, 1979 he married Ann Southard. He was a member of Woodbury Baptist Church, Texas Association of Metal Finishers, Hillsboro Masonic Lodge #196, and the Hurst Masonic Lodge #1387. Preceding him in death were his parents; brother, Garland Ridlehuber; and daughter-in-law, Shannon Ridlehuber. Thanks to Hospice of The Heart and the doctors that treated him. Survivors include his wife, Ann Ridlehuber of Hillsboro; son, Hal Ridlehuber of Hillsboro; four brothers, Eugene Ridlehuber and wife, Janie, and Billy Ridlehuber all of Plainview, James Ridlehuber of Whitney, and Joe Ridlehuber and wife, Mary Ann, Euless; sister, Valda Bradley and husband, Wayland, of Lubbock; two granddaughters, Madison and Taylor Ridlehuber; and several nieces and nephews.
