Harold Senter

Harold Conway Senter, 60, of Files Valley, in Hill County, TX died Monday, January 18, 2010, at Kindred Hospital in Houston. Harold was born April 20, 1949 in Corsicana. He grew up in Alvarado, Cleburne, Oklahoma, Arizona, Dallas and Scurry where he enjoyed the country and all that went with it. He graduated from Abilene Christian University with both a Bachelors and Masters degree. He married Judy Tenbush Senter in 1973 and they spent 38 years together. They were blessed with two sons Randal and Derek Senter. He loved the outdoors and their farm in Files Valley. He enjoyed hunting, shooting and raising cattle. He was a member of the Hillsboro Church of Christ. He had a strong faith in God, he valued family and friendship, and he loved helping others. After battling Rheumatoid Arthritis for nearly 30 years he survived a bone marrow transplant in 2006 and enjoyed the years following it with a renewed appreciation of all those around him. He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl Conway and Loma Senter. Harold is survived by his loving wife, Judy, of Files Valley; sons, Randal Conway and Derek Russell and wife, Jayce, all of Fort Worth; a precious foster grandson, O, of Fort Worth; sister, Sherry Martin and husband, Walter, of Cleburne and their children and grandchildren; brother, Gene Senter and wife, Donna Senter, of Krum and their children and grandchildren; and a great number of very precious friends.
