Hattie Hooper

Hattie Ruth Hooper, 95, of Hillsboro died Monday, July 31, 2006, at Hill Regional Hospital. Hattie was born May 11, 1911 in Dundee, Texas the daughter of Crawford Montgomery and Myrtle Grace Martin Hooper. She began teaching first grade in Files Valley, Texas and continued teaching until retiring in Amarillo after 46 years. Hattie Ruth was a sweet, loving, and caring lady who charmed everyone around her, she will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Hillsboro. Preceding her in death were her parents, six brothers, and one sister. Survivors include many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
