Hebe Race

Hebe Race, 48, of Whitney passed away at his residence on September 22, 2006. He was the son of Hubert Edward and Beverly Nichols Race. He served in the United States Army for five years. On February 23, 1985, Hebe married Shirley Turner. He was a truck driver for many years with Tri-State Delivery and most recently with the Lance Corp. Hebe was a resident of Whitney for over 20 years. He was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include his wife, Shirley of Whitney; mother, Beverly Struglia of Killawog, New York; son, Tejae Race of Whitney; brothers, Jeff Race of Temple, Glen Race of Modesto, CA; sister, Kim Vanderwoude of Cortland, New York; five nephews and four nieces.
