Helen F (Boyd) Easterwood

Helen Easterwood, 102, passed away Saturday, February 10, 2024, in Fort Worth, Texas. Funeral services will take place at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, February 14, 2024, at Marshall & Marshall Funeral Directors, in Hillsboro, Texas

She was born January 25, 1922, in Hill County to William Charles and Rosa Lee Boyd. Helen was an amazing, strong, Godly woman. She never tired of caring for her family, friends or a total stranger. During her last conscious moments, she wanted to make sure her children were okay and did not have a need. What she possessed was always held with an open hand and she gladly gave to anyone who needed her help in any way.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Jim Easterwood; three sisters, Ollie McKay, Earline Catline, both of Hillsboro and Cordie deSteiguer, of Vashon, Washington; three brothers, Granvil Boyd of Itasca, Texas, Jack Boyd of Hearne, Texas, and Ray Boyd of Sherman, Texas. Helen is survived by her son, Jim Easterwood and wife, D.J. of Weatherford, Texas; her daughter, Carolynn Weisinger and husband, Royce of Weatherford, Texas; sister-in-law, Kathy Boyd, of Sherman, Texas; granddaughters, Holly Colman and husband, John, of Washington State; Ashley Johnson and husband Mark, of Weatherford, Texas; Christi Flaherty and husband, Kyle, of Fort Worth; Robin Pasley and husband, Ben of Colorado Springs, Colorado; eight great-grandchildren; Aaron Shipley, of Riverside, Texas; Sarah Verard and her husband, Kevin, of Washington state; Elizabeth  and Hanna Johnson, of Weatherford, Texas; Harrison and Eliot Flaherty of Fort Worth; Zane Pasley, of Colorado Springs; Xander Pasley of Phoenix, Arizona; nieces, nephews, neighbors and friends.
