Helen Fojtik

Helen Marie Dedo Fojtik, 88, of Irving, Texas and formerly of Clifton, Texas passed away November 9, 2008 at an Irving Nursing Home. Helen was born July 5, 1920 in Fort Worth, Texas to John and Annie WitwicskiLuskie. She grew up and attended schools in Fort Worth. On November 26, 1935, she married Edmund Joseph Fojtik and he preceded her in death on July 14, 1995. In 1952, she be came a Licensed Vocational Nurse and worked as a nurse for 38 years in the health care industry. She was preceded in death by 11 brothers and sisters. She was a member of the Holy Family of Nazareth Catholic Church in Irving for the last 13 years. She was a member of the Irving Heritage Senior Citizen Center. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to one's favorite charity. Helen is survived by daughters Patricia Corbett of Irving, Texas, Helen Janet Sherrill and husband Troy of Pensacola, Florida and Betty Jo Stone of Conway, Arkansas, 10 grand children and 21 great grandchildren.
