Helen Howeth

Helen Howeth was born on August 16, 1919 in Jeanerette, LA. to Willie Sidney and May Hebert Olivier. She was raised in St. Martinville, LA. and had lived in Baton Rouge, LA. before moving to Whitney in 1971. She married Edgar Franklin Howeth on July 3, 1948 in Orange, TX. and he preceded her in death on November 20, 1980. She was a member of the Catholic Church; American legion Auxiliary for the past 70 years; charter member o Lake Whitney Hospital Auxiliary with over 4, 000 volunteer hours during 25 of service; charter member of Mc Cowan Valley Association and a member of RSVP. Memorials may be made to Lake Whitney Hospital Auxiliary or Hospice of the Heart.
