Mary Helen Rose, 80, of Whitney passed away on February 14, 2008 in Whitney. She was the daughter of Conley and Lucy Bell Sanders Necessary. She grew up in Valley Mills. She picked cotton locally where the lake is now. She worked as a butcher and also owned and operated her own beauty shop for several years. She married Willie Treat Braziel of Whitney and later married Leonard Tarver Rose of Whitney and he preceded her in death in 1973. She was a member of the garden club in Dallas, a Red Cross volunteer in Washington State. She was a volunteer at the food bank in Whitney and also volunteered to do nails for residents at Town Hall. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Whitney. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Jimmy and Don, sisters, Dorothy, Nell and Stell. Survivors include her children, Kenneth Van Braziel and wife, Anna of Forestburg, Deborah Kay Easthom and husband, Michael of Whitney; brother, Billy Necessary and wife, Floy of Great Falls, MT; sister, Nancy Milligan of De Leon; grandchildren, Brian Allen Braziel of Fort Worth, Coni Diane Braziel of Lewisville, Kristi Lynn Nye and husband Michael of Waco, Justin Blake Easthom and wife, Michelle of Waco; great grandchildren, Daniel, Micah and Tarver
