Henry Martin Lake, 95, of Hillsboro died Sunday, November 21, 2010, at Town Hall Estates Nursing Home in Hillsboro. Henry was born September 6, 1915 in Whitesboro, TX the son of Howell Marion and Myrtle Jefferson Lake. Henry served his country in the United States Navy. On October 3, 1942 he married Geneva Worsham. He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Hillsboro, where it's preacher received a commendation this year for having the oldest living male member in the Waxahachie District. He was a farmer. Preceding him in death were his parents; two brother, George and Norvin Lake; and a sister, Leta Mae Black. Survivors include his wife, Geneva Lake of Hillsboro; a son, Martin Lake and wife, Sylvia, of Hillsboro; two granddaughters, Allison Patton and husband, James, of Hillsboro and Amanda Brown and husband, Jeff, of Chesapeake, VA; and eight great-grandchildren, Ethan, Violet, Samuel, Noah, Gideon, and Fiona Patton all of Hillsboro; and Aidan and Daniel Brown both of Chesapeake, VA.
