Hilda Roop

Hilda C. Roop, age 99, formerly of Whitney, passed away Thursday, January 19, 2017, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM, Monday, January 30, 2017, at Whitney Memorial Park in Whitney with Father Ouseph I. Thekkumthala officiating.

Hilda was born on February 20, 1917 to Joseph and Margaret (Hord) Carmichael. She moved from Whitney as a young woman and resided in Las Vegas at the time of her passing. She was of the Catholic faith.

Survivors include her daughter, Karen Roop of Las Vegas.

Arrangements are under the direction of Marshall & Marshall Funeral Directors in Whitney.
