Hope (Long) Beck

Hope Beck, 70, of Itasca, Texas, passed away January 26, 2024. A memorial visitation will take place from 2:00 to 4:00 pm, Saturday, February 10, 2024, at Marshall & Marshall Funeral Directors in Hillsboro.

Born on February 17, 1953, to Bill and Lucille Long, in Corsicana, Texas, Hope was a loving and caring individual with a free-spirited nature. She will be deeply missed by all who know her.

During her career, Hope served as an office manager at Northland Cable in New Caney, Texas and worked as a drug counselor at the Harris County Rehabilitation Center in Humble, Texas. She made a positive impact on the lives of many through her dedication and commitment. Hope loved music. She enjoyed playing the guitar, singing and spending time with her grandchildren. Her passion for music, family and friends brought her joy and fulfillment.

Hope was preceded in death by her father, Bill Long and grandson, Anthony Beck. She is survived by her mother, Lucille Long; her son, Dustin Beck and his wife, Missy; her daughter, Kristi Beck, and Phillip Massey; her grandchildren, Kari Fenstermaker and Jarvis Swope, Jonathan Beck, Shelby and Everett Augustine, Nikki Flores, Dustin Latray, Breyden Massey; her great-grandchildren, Saint Augustine, Everett Augustine, Amelia and Gracelyn Fenstermaker; her brothers, Rudy and Day Long, Nick and Jan Long, ; her sister, Jody Long; her niece, Lindsey Cisco; her nephews, Wayne Cisco, Jacob and Dwayne Long; and life long friends, Thomas and Carleen Siry, Roger Benson, Robert Ciarrochi, Andrea Russell, Karla Stzelecke, and Michelle Guerra.

A celebration of Hope’s life will be held in her honor, and details will be shared soon.
