Ima Penney

Ima Penney, 99, of Whitney passed away Sunday, April 26, 2020, at Hill Regional Hospital in Hillsboro.  Private family services will be held.

Ima was born March 25, 1921, in Maypearl to Eddie and Willie (Barton) Allison.  On December 22, 1941, she was united in marriage to Tob Penney.  She was a very dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother.  Ima was very active in her church.  She enjoyed fishing.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Tob, on January 3, 1987; and daughter, Marsha McConathy.

Survivors include her children, Gail Anderson of Cleburne, Mike Penney and wife, Rene, of Freeport, and Larry Penney of Waco; eight grandchildren; and numerous great and great-great grandchildren.
