Inez Moore

Inez Moore, 85, passed away Wednesday, September 5, 2012, in Clifton. Services will be at 10:00 AM Friday, September 7, at the Marshall and Marshall Chapel in Whitney with the Reverend Kenneth Stevens officiating. Interment will be at Vaughan Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, September 6, from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.

Inez was born on April 16, 1927, in Arkansas, to the late Clyde and Beckie (McGraw) Looper. In l969, she married James Moore. Together they owned and operated Moore’s Cleaners in Whitney for many years. She was a member of Missionary Baptist Church in Whitney.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Moore; her parents; and one daughter, Deborah Moore.

She is survived by her children, son Ronald Moore and wife Melody of Whitney and daughter, Beth Lewis of Whitney; one brother, Kenneth Looper of DeSoto; a sister, LaVerne Loewe of Plano; four grandchildren, Heather Swinson, Holly Bougor, Tony Pena and Donald Pena; and eight great-grandchildren
