Irene Havlik

Irene Rinehart Havlik, 68, of Whitney passed away on March 11, 2007 in a Waco hospital. She was the daughter of Clair and Lillian Hill Rinehart. She grew up in Texas. She went to school and graduated from La Vega. She attended Texas Women?s University in Denton. Irene married Edward Havlik and he preceded her in death. She owned and operated a dry cleaning business in De Soto and after retirement she operated an alteration business in Red Oak. She moved to Whitney in 1993. Irene was a member of Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Whitney. Also preceding her in death were her parents and brother, James Rinehart. Survivors include her father, Ken Shaw of China Spring; sister, Claire Mathis and husband, Kenneth of China Spring; sister-in-law, Kathy Rinehart of Mansfield; very special friend, Sue Hembree of Whitney; nephews, Robert Rinehart and wife, Tammy, Michael Rinehart, Terry Mathis and wife, Susan, Brian Mathis, Shawn Mathis and wife, Karla; many great nieces and nephews; four legged babies, Febee and Sally.
