Ivan Serrano

Ivan Serrano, 21, of Whitney, passed away on July 31, 2020, at his residence.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 8, 2020, at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors in Whitney.  Burial will follow at Whitney Memorial Park.   A visitation will be held at the funeral home from Noon – 2 p.m. on Saturday prior to the service.

Ivan was born on December 17, 1998, in Dallas, Texas to Efrain and Alejandra (Vega) Serrano.   He moved from Dallas to Whitney at the age of 10, graduating from Whitney High School in 2018.   Ivan enjoyed shopping and going to the library.  He was of the Catholic faith.

Survivors include his parents, Efrain and Alejandra Serrano; a brother, Mariano Serrano; a sister, Andrea Serrano; a grandmother, Carmen Rodriguez and a grandfather, Eliseo Vega, Sr.
