J. D. Gullett

J. D. Gullett, 79, of Cedar Shores passed away on March 6, 2007 in Waco. He was the son of Benjamin Henry and Rosie Butler Gullett. On June 1, 1946, he married Lorene Hughes. They owned and operated J. D.?s Quality Meat Market from 1972-1987. J. D. loved gardening, fishing, telling stories and jokes. He was also an avid Gaither fan, student of the Bible and a member of Cedar Shores Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Carolyn Larrew; son, Jerry Don Gullett and sister, Nora Lee Davis. Survivors include his wife, Lorene of Cedar Shores; children, Brenda Pittser and husband, Larry of Haltom City, Judy Rejcek and husband, James of Arlington, Pam Braudaway and husband, Mike of Arlington, George Westfall and wife, Katherine of Pottsboro; brothers, Austin Gullett and wife, Jean of Weatherford, Melton Gullett of Corpus Christi; sister, Christine Henson and husband, Bill of Mustang, OK; 13 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren Memorials: Cedar Shores Baptist Church, 277 CR 1500, Morgan, TX 76671
