J. T. Sneed

Jerry Thomas "J.T." Sneed, Sr. passed away on December 12, 2004 in Tyler. He was the son of Sidney Standford and Blanche Ann Netymach Sneed. He had lived in Dallas most of his life and in Van for the past 6 years. He served in the United States Armed Forces and drove a truck for 18 years. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Nancy Mahl and infant brother, Clarence. Survivors include his children, Kenneth Sneed and wife, Judy of Ben Wheeler, Patricia Kay Andrews of Louisiana, Jerry Sneed and wife, Eva of Irving, Timmy Sneed and wife, Jessica of Van; brothers, William Henry "Bill" Sneed of Dallas, Sidney "Junior" Sneed of Athens, Roland Chamberlain of Tyler, Floyd Sneed of Mineola, Arlis Sneed of Mineola, Charles Sneed of Arkansas, Bobby Sneed of Arkansas; sisters, Maudie McCool of Whitney, Laura Woods of Irving, Barbara Sorter of Bandera; 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
