Jack D. Anglin, age 77, of Whitney passed away October 1, 2011 in Cleburne.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at Whitney Memorial Park and visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 PM, Monday October 3, 2011 at Marshall & Marshall Funeral Directors in Whitney.
Jack was born on July 29, 1934 in Austin, Texas. He was the son of the late Alva Andrew and Helen (Barnett) Anglin. Jack was born, raised, and attended school in Austin. He married Virginia “Claude” Baker on January 1, 1981, in Arlington, and she preceded him in death on May 30, 1995.
Jack was employed for over 20 years at General Dynamics as a printer, retiring from there in 1974. He was co-owner of Woodland West Office Supply and Printing in Arlington from 1974-1981. In 1985, he moved to Whitney.
He was also preceded in death by his parents, sister, Wilmath E. Anglin, great-granddaughter, Haley Anglin, and wife Carol Anglin.
Survivors include three children; Pam J. Johnson and husband, Tim of Joshua; Mike Anglin and wife, Veronica of Godley; and Alva “Beau” Anglin of Forest Hill, 7 granddaughters, 1 grandson, 7 great-granddaughters and 5 great-grandsons.
