Jackie A. D. "Jack" Creamer, 73 of Whitney passed away on April 5, 2012.
Services will be held at 10 am, Saturday, April 7, 2012 at First Church of the Nazarene in Whitney with Rev. Greg Johnson officiating. Interment will follow at Bethlehem Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 - 8 pm, Friday at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors in Whitney.
Jack was born on December 3, 1938 in Colorado City to Carl Grady and Annie Fay (Wise) Creamer. He served his country in the United States Army during the late 50's. On October 12, 1963, Jack married Janice Kay Lewis in Acuna, Mexico. He lived in Texas most of his life and in Whitney since 1984. He worked for Walker Construction in Fort Worth as project manager, then owned and operated Creamer Construction Company before his health began to fail. He enjoyed building birdhouses and volunteering at First Church of the Nazarene where he was a member. Jack loved his grandchildren and great grandchildren very much.
Preceding him in death were his parents; daughter, Jennifer Creamer in 1967 and brother, Tommy Carl Creamer in 1989.
Survivors include his wife, Jan of Whitney; children, Joe D. Creamer and wife, Denise of Whitney, Justin D. Creamer and wife, Jennifer of Lincoln, Alabama, Jay G. Creamer and wife, Lindsey of Waxahachie; sister, JoAnn Lee Creamer of Whitney; 9 grandchildren, Angela Rogers and husband, Brian of Longview, Jacklyn, Traci and Haleigh Creamer all of Whitney; Courtney, Austin and Kolby Creamer all of Lincoln, Alabama, Grady and Gage Creamer both of Waxahachie; 2 great grandchildren, Caiden and Dillon Rogers of Longview; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
