Jackie Jean

Jackie Earl Jean, 54, of Cranfills Gap passed away Sunday, December 23, 2018, at his home. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday, January 3, 2019, at Marshall & Marshall Funeral Directors in Hillsboro.

He was born July 5, 1964, in Hillsboro to Buddy and Carolyn Jean. Jackie loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, finding and collecting arrowheads and Indian artifacts. He had a collection set up for display that is museum worthy. Jackie worked on ranches most of his life and was employed by the Cox Ranch at the time of his death.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jake (Buddy) Jean, Jr.

Survivors include his mother, Carolyn Jean of Granbury; sister, Pam Mitchell (Terry) of Granbury; sister, Karen Hanshew (Ray) of Hico; brother, Dennis Jean of Cleburne; brother, Mike Jean of Cleburne; brother, Dean Jean (LaDonna) of Blum; and numerous other family and friends.
