Jacquelyn Renee Gibson

Jacquelyn Renee Gibson passed away March 26, 2023, at the age of fifty-one after a brief painful battle with melanoma cancer that metastasized to her liver and lungs. She was born June 8, 1971, in Columbus, Georgia to Patricia Gibson-Bottino and Blackie Gibson.

Jacquie had the biggest servant’s heart, always caring for others any way she could. She loved Jesus, spending time with her dogs, loved cooking, loved her parents, siblings, the love of her life David and her bonus son Randy, nieces, nephews and family and friends. She truly was an example to others of unconditional love, integrity and others before self.

She is preceded in death by the love of her life David Hamilton and her Father Blackie Gibson. She leaves behind family that desperately miss and love her; her Mom Patricia Gibson-Bottino (Texas) her sisters Ara Mata (Texas) Autumn Bottino (Nevada) her bonus son Randy James Hamilton; brother in law Blake Mata; nieces and nephews: Jacob Gadbery, Logan Hunt, Siara Hunt, Cody Hunt, Shyann Hunt, Landon Mata and Charlie Mata, her Aunt Janet and Uncle Danny, Uncle Joe and Indy Kirkland Jacquie did not wish to have a funeral. She was at peace with her illness, a devout Christian, a kind and loving daughter, sister, niece, aunt and a loyal friend. A private family memorial will be held, and she will be cremated. She will be missed by many, but her memories will live in all our hearts.
