James “J. D.” Greenhill, 52, of Cleburne passed away Sunday, December 21, 2014, in Hillsboro. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 27, 2014, at Friendship Baptist Church in Cleburne with Rev. Brian McClure officiating. Burial will follow at Peoria Cemetery in Peoria. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, December 26, 2014, at Marshall & Marshall Funeral Directors in Hillsboro.

Born January 30, 1962 in Hillsboro, he was the son of William Donald and Landa Sue (Stansbury) Greenhill. For 17 years, he was employed with the Texas Department of Transportation in Fort Worth as a utility coordinator. He was a passionate hunter, fisherman, farmer, and rancher. Friendship Baptist Church was his families church, where he was a long-time member and supporter. His kind heart and generosity touched many family and friends. He will be greatly missed.

Preceding him in death were his parents and a sister-in-law, Nanette Greenhill.

His love and devotion to his family were the most important things to him. His loving family that survives him include his wife, Susan Banker Greenhill; brothers, David and Travis Greenhill; children, Patrick and Hannah Greenhill and Paxton and Alec Banker; grandchildren, Cameron, William, and Everett; in-laws, Robert Sarach and Brittany Carper; and several nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to Friendship Baptist Church, P. O. Box 724, Cleburne, TX 76033.
