James Franklin Hamilton

James Franklin Hamilton, 76, of Peoria went to be with the Lord while at his home on Friday, May 29,2020. Celebration of life will be at The Peoria Community Center at 1:00 PM Saturday, June 6, 2020. The Peoria Community Center is located at 103 County Road 1320, Hillsboro, Texas 76645.

James was born in Waco, Texas to Franklin and Leola Hamilton on January 31, 1944. James married Doris Hamilton on June 4, 1982. Together they raised 6 children. James loved spending time with his family and tending to his garden.

James was preceded in death by his father, Henry Hamilton; mother, Leola Hamilton; and two sisters.

James is survived by his wife, Doris Hamilton; children, Lisa, Charlie, Shawn, Jason, Charles, and Pam; and grandkids and great grandkids.
